The collection contains two bill heads, 1881 and 1886, from Monticello Wine Company of Charlottesville, Va., invoicing the customer, Thomas S. Martin, for Grape Brandy and Catawba wine; a postcard, 1891, from R.M. Newman of Somerset, Va. to the Monticello Wine Company, announcing a shipment of 12 barrels of grapes; and two bills of lading, 1881 and 1883, from the Virginia Midland Railway for shipments of wine from Charlottesville to North Garden, Va.
